Courtesy of Dark Horizons.
The thought of this man, in this role, with this man directing a story by one of the most darkly humourous and innovative writers of well... ever, is sending tingles to places in my body you prolly don't want to know about.
Aheh. Did I mention Mars (planet of passion) moved into Scorpio (planet of all things sexay, kinkay and downright evilicious) on Thursday? And, um, it's Spring Down Under? Plus, I'm feeling... you know... HAPPY (bordering on euphoric), for the first time in months?
Yep. I've never felt more naughty in my life. Be warned. Be very warned.

I didn't know there was a poster out! I was never too fond of the first movie version, but liked the book, so am looking forward to seeing this one.
Though the Depp movie I'm most curious about right now is the Libertine.
That poster strikes me as being a bit...sinister, somehow. Of course, I read the book as a kid and thought it was rather silly, so maybe that's just me.
Ith and Funky: I quite liked the first movie, but it didn't capture the he darkness of Dahl's humour, or a lot of the subtext of the novel.
These days, children's books are displaying the blackness quite openly and kids seem to be embracing it, as are the film versions of these books. So yes, he looks sinister, and entirely appropriately in my opinion. :)
Now you know how I feel about Johnny!
mmm, mmm, good!
Thankyou for my birthday present!!!!You're the bestest! . mmmmwwaah!
i love johnny ... i cant wait to see that ... have a great week -end :)
I quite agree. I'm looking SO forward to this.
i'm nre to your site. i came here via bitchalicious, and i just have to say,
i love the naughty chick change in your ttlb ranking!
wooooo lucky hubby! heh heh
Burton, Depp, & Elfman together.
I can't see this thing being anything but great.
And I think that Wonka WAS a bit sinister. Taking great pleasure in toying with people's lives. Bit of a sadist, really. Depp should do a much better job than Gene Wilder.
I can't wait! :-)
Thank you-I too CANNOT wait! Hopefully, they've put the film back in England, as well.
*psst-glad you're back!*
I so can't wait for that movie to come out! Love Johnny Depp. Love Willy Wonka. And the thought of those 2 coming together is enough to make me explode!
BTW - I totally hear ya about the naughty bizness. I had the most wonderful dream this morning - quite graphic only to be rudely awoken by the alarm clock. I tried going back to sleep to see how my dreamed turned out, but no such luck. :(
I'm looking forward to Burton's version - I reckon there'll be shades of Edward Scissorhands in it...
Spring-Spring-Spring! I've got my shorts, t-shirts and jandals oops thongs out :) Bring on Summer!
Oooooh! Johnny makes me all tingle-y too! I can't wait for this!!
Are we to assume by your silence that you have found a suitable outlet for these naughty feelings?
Mmmmm...yes, a little sinister. First impressions from the poster reminded me somewhat of Clockwork Orange...I WANT that Top Hat!...and the naughtiness....must be the weather. Like Yayaempress, I've been having yummy dreams filled with Fence-net stockings, FMB's & corsets ;-)
I posted on this a while back when I first heard they were doing this remake. I have to say I'm bummed. The first movie was awesome and I'm sick of people making re-makes instead of coming up with something new. I also am NOT a Tim Burton fan. Ugh.
i am so excited for this! johnny depp i think is going to be great. cause let's face it - isn't he always?
Johnny Depp is in the movie? Well, I guess the snozzberries won't be the sweetest thing in the chocolate factory... heh heh...
Er. Um... Er.... Rather... Um.
This comment never happened. I am completely and utterly heterosexual. I would make love to every woman in here and I'd love it immensely. Get it? Never happened.
Been a few days. Should we start worrying about you yet?
I thought the movie was called Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory, not Charlie Chaplin and the Chocolate factory!
I like Johnny Depp, just I wonder if he's ever gona make a movie where he's normal, like Edward Scissor Hands two!
Either can eat crackers in my bed anytime. Now would be good... Kudos on the movie as well...
[holds mirror under Goldie's nose]
[checks for fogging]
10 days and holding.... [knock knock] anyone home?
I hope you are ok, Goldie!
Have a Happy Thankygiving, and come back soon!
What Maine said.
Seriously, darlin', could you at least do a quick "still alive" post? I'm gettin' worried over here :-/
You don't have to explain anything, just give us a sign.
[peeks in, looks for a sign]
[leaves with furrowed brow]
